The role

You’ll be front line, commercially focused and at the heart of the sales team, it isn’t a traditional 9-5.

You’ll work closely alongside experienced Business Development Managers (BDMs), playing a critical role in how opportunities are progressed and how prospective clients experience Bibby Financial Services.

Just as important as what you do is how you do it. This role requires someone who consistently demonstrates the right attitude and behaviours. Taking ownership, acting with integrity, putting customers first and supporting colleagues to succeed.

While we offer hybrid working, you’ll be expected to attend the office on a regular basis.

Being present, visible and engaged with the sales team is key to learning, collaboration and delivering results.

Sales doesn’t always fit neatly into working hours and when opportunities are live or time critical, you’ll be expected to step up, stay engaged and go above and beyond to support the best outcome for the client and the team.

What you’ll be doing

Working as part of a high performing, collaborative sales team, you’ll:

  • Work closely with BDMs to support live opportunities and active prospect clients
  • Be a visible, engaged member of the sales team through regular office attendance
  • Deliver excellent, customer focused service at every stage of the sales journey
  • Build trusted relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Help the sales team maximise business opportunities by applying best practice
  • Maintain momentum through proactive communication and follow ups
  • Take ownership of responsibilities and see tasks through to completion
  • Step in when additional effort is required, particularly at key stages of a deal

What you’ll bring

You’ll set the standard through your attitude and behaviours.

  • Experience in a B2B sales support, sales or customer focused role
  • Flexibility and commitment, this is not always a 9–5 role
  • A strong, positive and professional mindset

  • Willingness to be office based on a regular basis to support learning, visibility and performance
  • Confidence communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Proactive, organised and comfortable in a fast paced environment
  • A full UK driving licence
